We were delighted to see our new Made to Measure Fabrics and Voiles now on display in Gerry’s At Home in Bexleyheath.
Gerrys is a family business that was founded in 1952. The business started as a market stall in South East London and has since grown to become a very successful soft furnishing shop in Bexleyheath & Croydon & Bromley.
The shop is renowned for its selection of stocked products and the excellent service that it gives to customers.
We were delighted to install a new Made to Measure Fabric stand at Pearsons of Enfield.
Pearsons has spent more than a century in Church Street, in the heart of the town centre, and still prides itself as Enfields premier department store.
During a time where UK manufacturing and business investment is under pressure, we have made major investments in our blind production area. A visually striking addition is our new XY cutter. It will be used primarily for roller blinds but we have already successfully tested some other fabrics.
The investment criteria was to deliver fast and accurate cutting across both axis. Our new Matic machine comes with sophisticated software that enables the production office to load orders and then auto collate fabric together with nesting. Ultimately it means that our cutters can concentrate on the quality of output and quickly up scale our operations during busy periods.
We’re very proud of our production areas and any of our customers are welcome to visit.
